Swedish animator and digital artist Erik Wernquist has put out a gorgeous short film called “Wanderers”. Voiced by Carl Sagan, Wanderers is Wernquist’s vision of humanity’s future in space.

Although of course, none of the footage in the film is real, all the visuals are based on actual, real places in our solar System. Wanderers showcases Mars, the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and more exotic locations that look absolutely stunning.

Here’s hoping we make it to all these places. Someday.
